Bach meets jazz. Until its retirement in 2008, the jazz-tempered trio was New Zealand’s premier exponent of classical-jazz fusion, giving the music of the Baroque masters, primarily Johann Sebastian Bach, the jazz treatment.
Conceived in the comfortable surroundings of the Backbencher Pub and Café in Wellington, New Zealand, and with more than a nod to the unique style of Jacques Loussier, the jazz-tempered trio played all the favourite classics, spiced up with the mellow sounds of free and easy jazz.
